Job Description
AI ECD is at the forefront of integrating advanced technology with educational strategies in early childhood education. We seek a Child Development Researcher with knowledge or working experience in language and cognitive skills to join our research team. This position is crucial in conducting innovative research that enhances language acquisition and cognitive development in children through our AI-driven educational app.
In this role, you will be responsible for research on early childhood development from an innovative approach, analyzing data, and generating actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to ensure children-centered design and meaningful user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user-centered research methodologies, a passion for e-learning, and a strong ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
This position is offered remotely, providing you with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
- Develop assessment tasks that measure and promote language and cognitive skills, ensuring they are adaptive and child-centric.
- Establish robust methodologies for validating the performance of educational evaluations and technologies.
- Maintain current knowledge of child development and educational technology trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Assist the Child Development Head in conducting research focusing on creating and refining AI-enhanced educational tasks and tools.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field required.
- Extensive research experience in child development, with a specific focus on language and cognitive skills.
- Ability to start working immediately as a full-time or part-time employee, or internship.
- Proficient in the use of established evaluation tools, surveys, and methodologies specifically for assessing language and cognitive skills in child development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively in both independent and cross-functional team settings remotely

- PhD in a relevant field is strongly preferred.
- Passion for innovative projects, especially in startup environments.
- Proven track record in integrating technology within educational practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a research team.
